Stop Getting Overlooked.
Get on a Coach's Radar

A step-by-step playbook for high school baseball athletes who are doing the work, but aren't getting seen... yet.

You're putting in the reps. You're building your skills. You're getting ready to play at the next level, but coaches aren't responding.

You might be losing out because coaches only spend seconds evaluating your potential.
Are you making it easy for them to see?

Coaches are trying to figure you out, and they're deciding in seconds whether you're worth their time. If your outreach is unclear, your emails go unread. If your profile is hard to evaluate, they move on. Most athletes lose momentum before the recruiting discussions even begin.

MEET THE FOUNDER & CEO

I'm Michele Konetski

My son started the recruiting process for college baseball, and he and I were both overwhelmed. Even with my background in tech and strategy, I struggled to make sense of the fragmented advice, missed timelines, and conflicting opinions. It wasn't just difficult, but emotionally exhausting.

That experience became my "why," and since then, I've created Grit Sports to give families what we didn't have: one trusted place with a clear roadmap to navigate the college recruiting process.

We want to help you move forward with confidence.

This is for you if:

You're a high school baseball player ready to start contacting college coaches

You've sent outreach before but haven't heard back

You're not sure how to present yourself in a way that coaches actually respond to

You want a clear, step-by-step process instead of guessing what to do next

Frequently Asked Questions

What grade should I be in to use this?

For the vast majority of players, direct contact with college coaches at any level is reserved for high school juniors and seniors. Division 1 coaches are not able to reply to you before then and other divisions don't recruit before then. There are always exceptions, and if you feel that you might be ready early, we recommend working with your club or high school coach to facilitate your contact with any college programs.

How do I access everything after I buy?

You'll get instant access to all materials digitally, including the PDF, videos, and templates are all available immediately after purchase.

Is this the whole recruiting process?

This playbook contains three steps specifically curated to help you. This is just one small piece of the recruiting process. There are more steps in our Grit Sports Baseball Recruiting Roadmap, but this is a good place to start when you're ready to start contacting coaches.

What if I've already started reaching out to coaches?

Even better. You can use this playbook to clean up your approach and re-engage coaches who haven't responded yet.

What is Grit Sports?

Grit Sports helps high school baseball athletes and their families navigate the college recruiting process with clarity, expert tools, and real-world insights.

Michele Konetski founded Grit Sports after going through the recruiting process with her son. She has a background in tech and strategy, and still struggled to make sense of the fragmented advice, missed timelines, and conflicting opinions. She was exhausted and, her experience became her "why." She created Grit Sports to give families what she didn't have: one trusted place to find clarity, take action, and feel supported through every step of the college recruiting journey.

You need to be polished, not perfect.

Coaches expect you to write your own emails and DMs, so they don't expect you to always say the right thing. They're looking for you to be genuine and concise. This playbook gives you the tools to become an athlete who does just that.
